After missing all practice due to foot issues, Tuten is expected to play Thursday despite being listed as questionable.

Bhayshul Tuten is a true game-time decision for the Jacksonville Jaguars, who face the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday. The running back missed every practice session this week with ankle and foot injuries, prompting the team to label him questionable. NFL teams typically reduce intensity during short weeks leading to Thursday Night Football, but Tuten’s complete absence from the field has elevated his status from a standard injury watch to a final pregame judgment.
The uncertainty follows Tuten’s best performance of the season in Week 8. In Jacksonville’s 42-7 win over the Indianapolis Colts, he rushed for 104 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries. He also caught two passes for 55 yards and a score. That output made him the first Jaguars player since Maurice Jones-Drew in 2007 to record 100-plus rushing yards, 50-plus receiving yards, and multiple touchdowns in a single game. It was also his first career game with 100-plus rushing yards.
Tuten currently holds a unique statistical distinction in the league. He is the only player with at least three rushing touchdowns and three receiving touchdowns this season. An ESPN report suggests he should be ready to play Thursday barring any late setbacks. If the coaching staff opts for caution, fourth-year veteran Chris Rodriguez Jr. would assume the lead back role.
Rodriguez has rushed for 209 yards and three scores on 45 carries this year. He contributed to the Week 8 victory with a 28-yard rushing touchdown that extended the lead to 35-0. Despite the uncertainty surrounding Tuten’s availability, the Jaguars enter the game as 10-point road favorites against the 4-4 Ravens.
