The future of Massimiliano Allegri at Napoli hangs in the balance this weekend.
The club sits eighth in the Serie A standings with 14 points from 10 games. They have lost four of those matches. One of those defeats was a 1-4 loss to Porto in the Champions League on Wednesday. Another was an away loss to Juventus in Turin last weekend.
Allegri will manage Napoli against Lazio on Sunday at 6:30 a.m. Eastern Time. The game is scheduled for the first slot of the matchday. It offers the manager a final opportunity to stabilize the team before the league pauses for international duty. Managers often face dismissal during these breaks if results do not improve.
Inter will play Como at San Siro on Sunday at 12 p.m. Eastern Time. Inter lost 3-1 to AC Milan in the Derby della Madonnina last week. They recovered with a 3-0 win at Feyenoord in the Champions League. Como is in strong form, having beaten Lens 9-1 on Wednesday. Como currently ranks fourth in the European league phase standings, trailing only Arsenal, Real Madrid, and PSG.
Frosinone occupies sixth place in the domestic table. Coach Massimiliano Alvini has guided the team to six wins, two draws, and two losses in the first 10 matches. The squad has accumulated 20 points. Napoli, in eighth place, has six fewer points.
Fiorentina will host Juventus on Sunday at 2:45 p.m. Eastern Time. That match will be the final fixture of the weekend. All games for Matchday 11 will air on Paramount+.
The schedule concludes the regular season action before the November break. Teams will resume play after the international window closes.
