Dog owners can buy the Fi Ultra satellite tracker for $209.30 through October 25. The price cut returns the device to its original launch cost. Shoppers must enter the coupon code SCARY at checkout to receive the 30 percent discount.
Fi introduced the Ultra model earlier this year. The device features an IP68 rating, which allows it to function fully underwater, including in saltwater. The company states the battery lasts up to five days based on the animal's activity level. The unit attaches to a collar or harness and uses LTE, GPS, and Starlink satellite signals to locate pets in areas without cellular service. It also plays sounds and vibrates to alert the animal.
Fi markets the product as the first dog tracker to integrate T-Satellite, Starlink, GPS, and LTE technology. A subscription is necessary to access tracking features. The company offers six-month, one-year, and two-year plans. The first year of a one-year plan costs $99, while subsequent years cost $189. These plans apply only within the United States, and satellite coverage excludes Alaska.
The Verge evaluated the tracker in remote South Carolina earlier this year. Testing showed precise location data, but updates occurred only every two to three minutes. This delay could hinder owners of fast-moving dogs. Battery performance dropped in Lost Mode, where a full charge lasted roughly two days. The device size favors larger dogs due to its physical bulk.
Amazon lists additional discounted items alongside the pet tech sale. The Kirby Air Riders game for Nintendo Switch 2 is available for $48.99, a reduction from its standard $69.99 price. The title includes character and kart customization options that unlock during play.
The JLab JBuds Talk USB-C microphone is priced at $24.99 on Amazon, well below its typical $50 to $100 range. It supports four directional modes and records at a 96KHz/24-bit sample rate. The dedicated microphone improves audio clarity compared to built-in laptop or headphone microphones.
Lego's Star Wars Grogu set is listed at $103.99, a $26 discount that matches its lowest price to date. The 1,200-piece kit depicts Grogu in beskar armor with a satchel. Builders can swap arms and facial features to change expressions, and a built-in lever rotates the head.
