Apple TV has finalized its November programming schedule, adding six new titles to its library. The lineup includes a returning sports comedy, a European heist thriller, and a biographical drama about a 1977 protest. Subscribers pay $14.99 per month for access to the service, with discount options available through Apple One bundles.
The month begins on November 4 with the second season of 'Stick.' Created by Jason Keller, the series follows Owen Wilson as Pryce Cahill, a former professional golfer. Wilson also serves as an executive producer. The character, whose career ended 20 years ago, works at an Indiana sporting goods store. He mentors Santi, a 17-year-old golf prodigy played by Peter Dager.
On November 6, the docuseries 'Awkwafina: The Unlikely Cook' premieres. The series follows Nora Lum, known as Awkwafina, on a culinary road trip. Lum comes from a family of restaurateurs but has never learned to cook herself. She attempts to revive her family's Chinese restaurant during the journey.
November 13 serves as the primary release date for the month. '12 12 12,' a heist drama, drops that day. The show uses three timelines: 12 months of planning, 12 hours of the heist, and 12 days of aftermath. Anthony Mackie plays a disgraced FBI agent, while Jamie Dornan portrays an American career criminal. The plot centers on a raid on a bank vault located beneath the streets of Zurich.
Also releasing on November 13 is 'Being Heumann,' a film directed by Siân Heder. Heder previously directed 'CODA,' which won an Academy Award. The story is set in 1977 and follows Judy Heumann, played by Ruth Madeley. A group of outsiders protests a federal building in what is described as the longest such occupation in American history. Mark Ruffalo plays the bureaucrat opposing the coalition. The same day features 'Snoopy Presents: 12 Days of Snoopy,' a family special where Snoopy tries to remove himself from Santa's naughty list.
The month concludes on November 25 with 'Way of the Warrior Kid.' Jude Hill stars as Marc, a bullied middle schooler. Chris Pratt plays his uncle Jake, a Navy SEAL recovering from an injury. Jake creates a program to teach Marc about courage. Linda Cardellini plays Marc's mother. The film is based on a novel by Jocko Willink and directed by McG.
Existing series also continue to release episodes. 'Brothers,' starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, runs through November 4. The British comedy 'Small Prophets' also airs its final November episode on that date. 'Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars' ends its run on November 6. The German dark comedy 'Where's Wanda?' continues through December 9, and the thriller 'Nocturne' runs through December 25.
